What does Preamble mean?

A preamble is the beginning. It's an introduction of what's to come. It takes into account past experiences to lay the foundation for something new. It's what sets the tone for the future and describes your intent.

We believe great coffee can be a preamble—to conversation, to community, to contemplation. It's often your first experience of the day, or the needed break that realigns it. A preamble of coffee helps shape where you'll go and what you'll do.

Our Story

After a major layoff, I spent a year of applying for a new role with no success. It became clear that getting another job in my industry was like winning the lottery. I also realized how unhappy and unhealthy I was staring at the computer all day.

In that season of struggle, coffee and prayer are what got me out of bed each morning. Good coffee and the experience of drinking it every day made me feel like there was something worth holding onto. The routine encouraged me to keep praying, to keep having hope, and to trust in God’s timing.

Our mobile espresso bar isn’t just about making lattes. It’s about wanting to provide something special that helps people feel awake inside—both in body and in spirit. When you experience our cart, I hope you feel inspired to keep navigating towards what your heart truly desires, no matter what season of life you're currently in.
